PING fitting day
A well attended day last Friday at the PING fitting day. All enjoyed the latest technology being used with TrackMan providing all relevant stats for each player.
Also pictured is Pat Reilly who was fitted for G25 irons on the day and with these in the bag we look forward to more greens in regulation and lower scores as we progress. We will aim to track Pat's progress as we move through the season.
One player who is already on fire is Donald Law who scored the magic 59 (nett) last Sunday in the Gent's Medal - Donald is now a member of the exclusive 59 club and enjoyed a reduction in handicap from 27 down to 22 - way to go Donald!
Other noteable players who shot the lights out on Sunday were Steven Yule and David Forsyth who both scored nett 66’s – great form for the beginning of the season. Steven also joined Scott Spiers on the scratch front with 1 over par rounds of 72 – you can spot the players who keep their games going through the winter months – good golf indeed.
The 2's also paid out £13.70 each . Despite these great scores the CSS remained at 71 which will be good news for those in the buffer zone.
All the Gent's KO draws have now been made and are posted on the notice boards in the gent's locker room – check them out and see who your opponent is and when the play by dates are.
