Kippie Lodge Pro Cel-Am
Another successful event was played out last Saturday. 29 teams took part along with 29 of the Tartan Tour Professionals with Greig Hutcheon and Robert Arnott winning with -5 rounds of 66 (both former winners). The course was in great shape, as it has been all year, and received great feedback from all including celebrities Robert Powell, Alan Wells and Willie Thorne. Pipped for top spot in the team event our very own club team of Janette & Jim Cook, Paul Sharp partnered by yours truly ?? great scoring from our team posting -18. We enjoyed a great day with our team efforts on the course and many thanks to all who helped make the day a success and contributed to raising lots of money for both CLAN and Sparks.

Junior Pro-Am
For the first time ever we will host a PGA Junior Pro-Am on Monday 18th August. The Paul Lawrie golf centre will manage the event which will see top Scottish PGA pro's like Greig Hutcheon, Greg McBain as well as my fellow Banchory GC assistant and past Open Champion Paul Lawrie play alongside 18 of our own juniors. The Pro-Am will tee off at 13:00 on the 18th so why not come along and watch some top class golf from the pro's, who will also be passing on some advice and tips to their junior team players. Following the event a prize giving will be held in the clubhouse.

USPGA Sweep Results
Arthur Nicol was the lucky winner of our USPGA Sweep, Rory McIlroy did the business for him on the back nine and pocketed him £120 worth of shop credit. In second place was Kenny Mair who receives £75 for Phil Mickelson's efforts and in a tie for 3rd was Mary Martin and Robbie Leith who have Rickie Fowler and Henrik Stenson to thank for their prize of £40.
Ross continued his good recent form in the Emtec Masters at Deer Park in Livingston. The event was a Scottish Order of Merit event and Ross’ scores of 73 (+1) and 71 (-1) saw him finish in 16th position in a field of 50 players, a very good finish indeed amongst Scotland’s top full-time professionals. Ross also scored a very respectable score of 71 in our very own Pro-Cel-Am, despite starting with a double bogey 6 he held it together and fought back to finish level par.
