New for 2018 - Book your golf lessons online

With the new season fast approaching we have introduced for 2018 an improved facility when booking golf lessons with myself or Andrew.

You can now book online using the clubs website www.banchorygolfclub.co.uk. Under the “About” option on the website and available on the Pro Shop & Golf Lessons page, you can access our lessons online calendar and book from your PC, laptop or mobile device.

Membership news

Know someone who is considering joining a Golf Club?

Well, did you know that the one off joining fee at Banchory has been reduced by 50% down to £200? So far this offer has been very well received with not only a number of enquiries over the last few weeks but the Club has received new member application forms to join so if you have a friend or colleague who is considering a move from another Club or perhaps has moved into the local area and is looking to join a Club, now is that time to take up this offer.

New members joining the Club and paying the one off £200 joining fee can opt to either pay the annual subscription in one payment or spread it over 10 months on interest free via direct debit.

It's a game of fine margins

A little less pace on your putt and the ball takes the break and falls into the centre of the cup.

Fine margins in golf

Golf is a game of fine margins, which means every decision you make is an important one. You wouldn’t go from one round to the next playing with different clubs - sometimes new, sometimes old, sometimes slightly damaged – so why do that with your golf ball? Considering it’s the only constant you have on every shot, it can really pay off to use the same model if you want to improve your consistency.
