Club Championships
To begin with this week I would like to congratulate Gillian MacKenzie on winning her 4th consecutive Ladies Club Championship last Tuesday with a 3 round total of 224. Also congratulations must go to Ann Smart on winning the Senior Ladies title. For a full list of this year's results simply click here to view.
This week the Gents Club Championship plays out with round 3 on Wednesday and the final round on Friday. The top 16 scratch scores will compete over the final two rounds.

Tagged onto the final round our own Chef Ramsay has organized a Friday curry night which is priced at £8.50 per head - if you would like to reserve a table please call the kitchen on 01330 822274 and enjoy watching the leaders coming down the stretch.

Royal Deeside Golf Classic - 23th July to 28th July 2017
Picture a corner of Scotland with delightful warmth of welcome together with breathtaking scenery and four interesting, but challenging golf courses. You've discovered Royal Deeside. Playing golf amid such scenic splendor must be every golfers dream and here in Royal Deeside we have put together a package, which will allow just that. See the itinerary below:

100 Hole Challenge
Good luck to local members Scott and Robin who are looking to play 100 golf holes in a day. They will be doing this for Anchor charity which is a cause close to their hearts. They will be completing 100 holes which makes it a par 376 at 30841 yards (17.52Miles) in a rough time of 17 1/2 Hours. The date will be Wednesday 28th June with sunrise at 4.15am and sun set at 10.07pm. They will be playing off the yellow's and the plan so far is as follows
Deeside 4.15am - 18 holes, Par 70, 5916 yards, 2 1/2 Hours - 6.45am - Travel 15mins
Peterculter 7.00 am -18 holes, Par 68, 6009 yards, 2 1/2 Hours - 9.30am - Travel 30 mins
Banchory 10.00am - 18 holes, Par 68, 5484 yards, 3 hours - 1.00pm - Travel 15 mins
Inchmarlo 1.15pm - 10 holes, Par 35, 2133 yards, 1 1/2 Hours - 2.45pm - Travel 30mins
Aboyne 3.15pm - 18 holes, Par 68, 5717 yards, 3 Hours - 6.15pm - Travel 30 Mins
Ballater 6.45 pm -18 holes, Par 67, 5582 yards, 3 Hours - 9.45pm
