Deeside League Scott Trophy
Last Sunday Banchory hosted the Deeside League Scott Trophy which is a 4 man team event over 18 holes with all 4 scratch score counting. 10 local club teams took part on a sun drenched afternoon and the team of Lindsay Smart, David Read, Innes Miller and Davy Brand from Banchory came out on top with scores of 67, 70, 73, & 79.
Not only were the home team the top team but Lindsay scooped top individual with his 2 under par round of 67. Pictured here are the lads with their trophies.

4th - I.Morrison, D.Dey, C.Dey, C.Durno = 56.3 nett BL3 (£20 each)
5th - R.Gray, K.Gray, D.Brand, J.Symons = 56.3 nett (£10 each)
Junior Pennant League
Also on Sunday, Banchory hosted their final junior pennant match which resulted in a 2 ½ to 2 ½ tie with Hazel head.
With a very young team of players this was a terrific performance and result.

Betty Scores her 3rd Ace
Last week while playing a casual game, Betty Cassie holed out her tee shot on the Doo Cot. Betty now joins an elite Club of players who have 3 holes in one to their name - woe wee Betty what a star.
Betty was playing with David Mitchell and when playing up the 16th Betty's husband Norman appeared as if by magic just in time to see it all unfold.
