Gents 18 Hole Open Results - Saturday, 20 May
Despite heavy rain all day the Gents 18 Hole Open went uninterrupted with the course holding up very well indeed. 180 entrants was an impressive numbers of players from local clubs and even a few from Kirkcaldy and Duddingston made the effort to take part.

Scratch: 1st - Craig Lindsay (Banchory) 68, 2nd - Scott Larkin (Banchory) 70, 3rd - Alan Lawrence (Banchory) 71 BIH, 4th- Bruce McHattie (Westhill) 71.
Class 1 (0-10): 1st - Ryan Dey (Banchory) (3) 65 BIH, 2nd - Brian Warren (Banchory) (10) 65, 3rd - Danny Sutherland (Peterculter) (6) 67 BIH, 4th - Lee Meldrum (Banchory) (9) 67, 5th - Paul Kelly (Stonehaven) (6) 68.
Class 2 (11-28): 1st - Lewis Donald (Banchory) (15) 66, 2nd - Ben Martin (Banchory) (11) 69, 3rd - Michael Rust (Nigg Bay) (21) 70 BIH, 4th - Lewis Mitchell (Alford) (11) 70, 5th - John Reith (Banchory)(12) 70.
Watt Duffus
Well played to Gail Christie who on Monday this week had the best net score at the Watt Duffus County event at Aboyne.
Gail scored a 76 gross, 68 nett and picked up top prize in this section.

Andrew makes it to the PGA Assistants Final
Last week Andrew played in the qualifying round at West Linton Golf Club for this years Galvin Green PGA Assistants Championship which is played later this year at Coxmoor Golf Club in Sutton on Ashfield.
Andy scored a 72 and made it into the top 16 who now go onto the main event in August. Good luck to Andy for this one which if memory serves me right I played in myself back in 1989 down at Coombe Hill in London where I managed all 4 rounds back in the day! Go get em Andy.
