A big thank you goes out to all the members and friends who bought the "Scotty" print which Banchory member Dave Cowe produced and which have been on sale from the Pro Shop over the last few months. 

With your support a fantastic sum of £810 has been raised and was handed over today to Hector Emslie for the British Heart Foundation. 

A particular big thank goes out to Dave Cowe who did all the hard work in getting this off the ground.

Vandalism on the Golf Course yet again - sadly last night Wednesday 5th April there were a number of incidents that occured on the golf course as the pictures below clearly show. If any member witnesses signs of this nature please get in touch with the Club or contact the local Police.

With our course shaping up nicely it's extremely disappointing to see such acts of wanton vandalism.

  
  
 
 

Ladies On Fire at Banchory

Another hole in one at Banchory Golf Club in the same week. 

Congratulations go to Morag Christoffersen who aced the 3rd hole on Friday, 31 March . 

Morag was playing with Colleen Young and hit her 7 iron into the hole!


 

Well it's that time of year again where we all get excited about tuning into our Televisions at home and settling down to watch the first Major of the year the US Masters from the Augusta National. 

I must admit it's the one Major every year that I find so easy to connect with simply due to the familiarity of each hole as each year The National plays host to this iconic tournament. 

Getting into the spirit of the Masters we have our little piece of Masters Trinkets - all we need now is the plasma TV and a cold beer!
