Gents Club Championship 2014

This year's event kicked off last Sunday with the 2nd qualifying round taking place this coming Saturday - please be aware that players wishing to participate in the KO stages MUST be available for FINALS DAY on Sunday 17th August. The club board will be also in operation in the lounge for players to enter their names and tick for availability.

Ladies Open

The course was in fantastic shape for the Ladies Open last Saturday (picture in here to follow). Congratulations to Megan Robb, Susan Downing and Susanne Middleton who returned great scores of nett 70 in Division 1 with young Megan winning on a countback. In Division 2 Gerladine O'Donnell was pipped to first place by visitor Angela Mitchell, Audrey Fowler also had a good score with a nett 72.

Junior Pennant team result

The team visited Caledonian on Sunday for their second match following a 3-2 away victory at Hazlehead. Although the handicaps were fairly even, local knowledge was advantageous in the dry but breezy links conditions. Caledonian were deserved 3-2 winners on the day, resulting in them having won both their home matches. Our final match is at home against Kemnay on Sunday 25 May, all to play for and still a chance of a semi-final place.
