Wow what a finish last Sunday night at the Fed-Ex - for someone who has struggled this year with the wand Rory put on a show of supreme ball striking and world class putting to take the biggest prize in golf and not only took the Tour Championship final event but scooped up the overall Fed-Ex cup with a cheeky $11.5 million pot!! This form from Europe's No1 player will surely give the European team a timely boost ahead of the big showdown at Hazeltine GC this Friday - way to go Rory and good luck to Darren's European team this week.

While we were blown away at East Lake we sadly lost the King of golf - Arnold Palmer who passed away Sunday evening. Arnold was 87 and was individually responsible for taking the game we love by the scruff and brought it in front of everyone's eye line in the late 50's early 60's - he will be missed by us all - RIP.

Course Update: 

Richard and his team last week completed the coring and dressing of the greens in 2 days with minimal disruption. As we are still experiencing warm temperatures it won't be long before the ground begins to heal up and we are all back with our silky strokes rolling that little white ball. This process which all courses carry out annually will not only help to improve drainage but will also assist in improving putting surfaces / root development for the greens going forward.
