Course Information:
Please be aware that now we are into May there are no longer preferred lies on the fairways. We have been seeing unrepaired pitch marks appearing again on the greens - please take the short time required to repair pitch marks and help to keep our greens in the best condition they can be - even if it's not your own mark please help by repairing as many as you can.
Junior Pennant Team:
Our juniors got their 2016 Pennant league campaign under way last Sunday. Unfortunately they lost 4-1 to Royal Aberdeen but the 4 losses were close games and in match play we all know how easy things can turn round.
Our team did turn out well dressed thanks to sponsor Rollstud who supplied team shirts and tops - many thanks to Rollstud supporting junior golf.
SkyCaddie amnesty
There's an amnesty in UK golf pro shops until May 31st - and a £50 bounty is available for customers who trade-in their old laser or GPS golf rangefinder Dead or Alive!
I am convinced their 2016 GPS devices are the best on the market that we are offering £50 off a new SkyCaddie for any old GPS or laser handed over at the same time.
Any GPS rangefinder/laser can be traded in through this promotion in Any condition (Dead or Alive) to Any device in the SkyCaddie 2016 range (SkyCaddie Touch, SkyCaddieLinxGT, SkyCaddieLinxVue, SW2 Watch, AireII, SkyPro swing analyser)

Range time is great - but you can work on your game on the course too
"When a pro slices during his range warm-up, he aims down the left on the first tee; when an amateur slices during warm-up, he aims down the middle."
Not our words, but those of tour professional Henrik Stenson. I think we'd agree they ring true. For some reason, the club golfer expects perfection on the course - a trait that also shows up when pitching over water to a tight pin, and in club selection… where he invariably believes he can repeat his best ever strike with his chosen weapon.
Shot selection based on a true grasp of your ability can save shots; it's one area we address during a playing lesson. Time spent with us on the course is not only fun; it'll show you how to manage your game and the course to shoot lower scores.
Playing the course is a lost art; we can make it your strength.
