Hello golfers,  

Following the recent coverage on both national television and in the press showing the aftermath of Storm Frank it has become apparent that the worst effected Golf facilities in the Aberdeen / Deeside area are: Ballater, Peterculter, Deeside Golf Clubs and the Paul Lawrie Golf Centre. Pictures tell a thousand words and it is now clear that these member clubs have a long way to go to both reinstate their golf facilities and have them ready for play and in time for the playing season.

We held a very successful Club Quiz last Friday, 15 January which helped raise over 2000 pounds for the village of Ballater flood relief.

Looking beyond this event we have pulled together a second Quiz evening at Banchory Golf Club on FRIDAY, 25 MARCH which this time round will raise funds for the worst affected golf facilities. Having shared this concept recently on Facebook I have been inundated with 4 ball vouchers from various PGA Professionals at Scottish Golf Club PLUS a fabulous STAR PACKAGE offer (see attached auction list).
