Firstly many thanks in completing my shop survey from last week which will assist me in stocking your shop going forward.


 

My assistant Andrew is away this week to PGA HQ - the Belfry where he is attending his first year's PGA University of Birmingham residential training week. He is back to work Sunday, please feel free to pop in to meet him and touch base.




As you may know Elaine has arranged a quiz this Friday (sold out - but you can still cone along) to help raise funds for the flood victims of Ballater which is both a lovely touch and the right thing to do.  

I shared the Facebook post from our own page Saturday evening and within minutes I was inundated with donations from fellow PGA pros of 4 ball vouchers from the likes of Panmure, Strathaven, Fereneze, Drumpellier and Blairgowrie among others. Out of the blue and also donated from a friend is the use of a Villa overlooking a private golf course (sleeps 8) in Tenerife with pool, vehicle: Porsche Cayanne (insured any driver), people there to look after you and access to golf games. At the moment my friend wishes to stay anonymous but what a phenomenal gesture.

Due to the overwhelming level of donations at such short notice Elaine and I have decided to maximise awareness and clearly in order to raise as much as possible we will now be running a second fund raising Quiz evening which both Jim Smith and Ian Taggart will run (many thanks guys) which will be Friday 25th March however this time we are supporting the 3 local members golf clubs worst affected by the flooding: Ballater, Peterculter & Deeside. The Villa package will be a silent auction which will open up soon and be available in the clubhouse for bids - however if you wish to email in your bids please email me here.
